Notes from the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting: June 18, 2008

Special Guests Sergeants Tim Ontengco and Matt Baker presented a program on marijuana cultivation at the meeting, complete with a live plant. It was a great meeting filled with information and input from attendees. If you missed this meeting, you missed a lot.

Sergeant Matthew Baker gave the incident report for both The Oxford County Sheriff's Department, and The State Police. There were 18 calls in Lovell this past month. 2 were car accidents, 1 was a drunk driver, 2 were fires. We were reminded that law enforcement is looking for people that are not wearing seatbelts. They are very serious about this! If you are not wearing a seatbelt, there is a very good chance that you are going to be caught.

Andrea Fillebrown is our new Call Captain for the Zone 4, North Lovell area.

Thanks for being a part of the team to keep Lovell safe.

Lovell Neighborhood Watch

July, 2008
Hello all,
I trust you all had a safe and happy 4th of July. This is just a reminder to all that there is no July meeting for Lovell Neighborhood Watch. We will meet next on August 20th. We hope Chief Deputy Dane Tripp will be bringing a special guest to that meeting.
Hope you plan to join the fun of Lovell Old Home Days next weekend.

Sgt. Tim Ontengco sends word to be vigilant in the area of the town garage, and the redemption center.
A stolen car was found on the corner of Old Waterford Road and Fern Drive. The Redemption building door was busted open. The transfer station was spray painted. Dep. Josh Wyman handled all these calls on the morning of July 10th.

Please report any and all information you think is not normal. Feel free to call any call captain or the anonymous tip line 1-800-733-1421 option #5. Remember help is only a phone call away. 911 is quick and easy and there is always a real person on the other end!
We need your eyes and ears to help keep Lovell safe. This is a busy time here in town activity is 24/7!

Thanks for being a part of the team to keep Lovell safe.
