Notes from the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting: September 24, 2008


Get well wishes to our webmaster Samantha! Bear with me as I attempt to keep you all informed in her absence.
Trooper Adam Fillebrown updated on the stolen guns, 4 recovered and the investigation continues.
The sex offender that was apprehended is believed to be out of state.
Detective Tom Harriman along with his dog Buddy presented the program on the link between animal cruelty and human violence.
Sue Belding is asking for help in reporting who is stealing money and goods from her farm stand on Old Stage Road.
The Iris Scan Day scheduled for October 25th has been postponed, a date will be announced later.
Next meeting November 19, 2008.
Remember it is Fair Week LOCK UP and drive carefully!
Remember to report all suspicious activity.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
We all need to be extra alert in these hard times. Burglars are out in droves. So as good "watchers" we need to step up our program to report all suspicious activity!
Per Lt. Grzyb of the Maine State Police please report any and all information you may have on the following case to MSP @ 657-3030 or 1-800-482-0730.
Friday night Trooper Greg Tirado investigated a burglary in N.Lovell on W.Stoneham Rd. near the Landing Rd. The incident occurred between 9/22 and 9/26. Items known to be taken is a television and a set of silverware. Lt. Gryzb would appreciate any info you can provide the police.

FYI Beware of paint balls in the night. Last night some homes in Lovell village were hit with paint balls! Perhaps you want to leave the outside lights on, especially the next few nights with the fair in full swing. Please report any suspicious activity.
