Notes from the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting: August 18, 2009

The watch meeting was all about dispatch. Charles Fillebrown a former state police and 9 year veteran dispatcher spoke. There were a collection of funny stories, and incidents he told us about.
On a serious note most important information for all of us:
1. It is ok to call dispatch (they are real people)
2. Speak slowly and clearly
3. Be sure your physical adress is correct with dispatcher
4. Answer all questions they ask you (even if it seems silly to you)
Sheriff Gallant gave an update on things with his usual touch of humor.
Sgt. Matt Baker gave the incident report. Fortunately, he considered Lovell dull since June. So that is great news.
The State Police were not there due to a training. Lt Grzyb did send me a report and they too found Lovell to be quiet.
There is still information needed on the breakins at the Marina and the Center Market.
Please call in any tiny bit of info you may have.
Thanks,
Roxanne Craig

07/27/09 ALERT
Twice in the past month, the Center Lovell Market has been burglarized. The first time entry was made and energy drinks were stolen. The second time handled by Dep Davis, no entry was made. The energy drinks were the same as what was stolen from the Kezar Lake Marina approximately a couple months prior. My suspicoun is that there is a local kid(s) doing this
Please help solve this. You can contact either state police or sheriffs department on this. Any info you have is never too small. Please contact me if you do not want to call the departments. You can call the following numbers:
