Sorry you missed such an interesting meeting. Detectives Terry James and Michael Zabarsky from the Maine State Police were speakers. They had demonstrations and products they use in solving homicide cases They told some very colorful stories. There were 31 homocides in our state during 2008.There is a team of about 25 of these detectives spread out over Maine. Tim Ontengco and Walter Grzyb gave a very quiet incident report. There will be a new police officer coming to our area soon. The Sheriff's department has four new officers staring patrol soon. We discussed safety measures such as lifeline monitors, carbon monoxide detectors, phone protection and to be so careful about fire In this frigid weather. We discussed people from fire and rescue with a flashing red light on vehicle. It is a courtesy to pull over to allow them the road. Sheriff Wayne Gallant gave out copies of a very nice magazine on the sheriffs association. Border Patrol has been stepped up by all agencies with various vehicles for road and trail patrol. Sheriff Gallant announced jail changes are on the way. Please mark your calendar for March 28 that will be an ID day held at the New Suncook school cafeteria from 9-12. Call me to see how you can help and have fun 925-3295! Try to shed the winter blues by attending our next meeting February 18th. Thanks so much, STAY WARM AND BE A GOOD WATCHER! Roxanne Craig Please help to identify these men and the truck! There was an $8000 theft of metal from Dearborn on 10-05-08 at 2:00 pm. It appears by the stuff in the bed of the truck that the men were involved in other thefts as well. Can anyone identify these men or the vehicle? Thanks, Sgt. Matt Baker
