Notes from the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting: June 17, 2009

Sgt Matt Baker led the meeting with assorted topics. We discussed summer problems and sobriety checks, lake patrol, and other warm weather activities. Even problems with bears in the area.
The incident report from the Sheriffs Office over the past month was small ,only 15. There were 2- 911 hang up calls, 2 accidents, 1 drunk, a domestic, and the retrieval of some marijuana plants. The State Police have been quiet also. Two officers did participate in career day at the school.
July is full with holidays, vacations and Lovell Old Home Days. There will not be any meeting of our watch group in July. Have a safe and happy summer. Please remember there is a lot more going on around us .....be super watchers and report anything that does not appear normal. Rememember we have call captains to help you if you do not want to call. Also I am able to help you 925-3295.
Next meeting we will host a speaker from the dispatch center. This will be a great time for those of you that do caretaking to meet the officers and a person that is on the other end when you phone in your emergency. Tell your friends to join us on August 19th!
Thanks,
Roxanne Craig
