Notes from the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting: February 17, 2010

Thanks to all the officers and citizens for attending the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting this past Wednesday night. At the meeting were Sgts, Tim Ontengco and Matt Baker and Dep Danielle Welch and Trooper Tom Welch.

ALERT --- There is a suspicious truck in the Sweden - Lovell area. It is a green Ford Ranger pickup with a red tail gate. Anyone with information on this please call me 925-3295. Any and all info is important.

It was a night of assorted info. We discussed an important issue of securing your home and goods. Mark your electronics and tools, example TV, Sony, serial number, and value written down and put in a safe place. Engrave your valuables with a special number or code.
There are some thieves in our area and items of interest to them are TV's, generators, and tools. So take some time to secure your home and valuables.

It was stressed again to report anything you see promptly. You are not a bother to call 1-800-733-1421 will get OC dispatch. Maybe we can all start right away marking a few of our valuables!

We went over tips about credit cards and checks. Also to lock your car with the inside lock before leaving it do not lock with the remote from across the parking lot.

Try to attend meetings, you do not have to do a thing. There is way too much discussed to send out in this note.

If you ever see something that is not quite right and do not want to call police or sheriffs you can call me or one of our call captains to call it in to dispatch.

We are progressing on plans and goodies for our senior day May 1st . We hope you can attend and maybe bring a friend or two.

We will see you at the next meeting March 17th.
Thanks and be safe,
Roxanne Craig
