Thanks to all that participated in the watch meeting last week. Sorry to report our speaker Trooper Tom Welch was called out, but will present his program at a later date. Sheriff Wayne Gallant, Sergeant Matt Baker, and Deputy William Nelson were present to conduct a very lively meeting. Matt gave an incident report from the Sheriff's office so far this year there has been a total of 78 complaints and of those only 4 were burglaries. There is wildlife all over, many of which choose to play in the road. BE CAREFUL DRIVING, the animals do not look out for us. This is party season, be mindful to report any bad actions ~ you may save a life. Deputy Nelson made a great point. When a "salesperson" comes to your door, immediately ask them why they are at your door. This surprises the solicitor and you are instantly one step ahead of this door to door person. So always keep yourself in the driver's seat when answering the door. We heard about camp postcard, what wonderful opportunities for children .See attached link for more info. We did a little wrap up on the senior day, a big thanks to all. Next month we will be graced with two local ladies from two separate banks. They will teach us some banking tips, and how to be safe with finances. They will welcome questions. So mark down the date of June 16th, and we will see you then. Get out and enjoy this lovely spring, be safe, and keep your eyes and ears open, and report things that are not just right!! Thanks so much, Roxanne Craig 207-925-3295 craigs1980@fairpoint.net
