Notes from the Lovell Neighborhood Watch Meeting: April 20, 2011


You really missed a good speaker if you did not attend the watch meeting. Meryl Molloy, animal control officer spoke. It was a very eye opening experience to hear about what she does. I think many of us do not realize all she can do to help.The following is contact info for animal issues:

A few tips to share:
... When buying gasoline at the pump with a credit card be sure to press CLEAR at the end of your transaction.
... Sgt. Ontengco warns everyone to be aware of home invasions. There was one locally recently.Hopefully you have time to dial 911 before your door is kicked in.

Congratulations:
To Dep. Danielle and Trooper Tom Welch on the birth of a daughter.

Incidents:
I do not have a report of State Police. Sheriff's for March total 9 calls,2 accidents,2 alarms,1 structure fire,1 assist motorist,1 phone harrassment,1 suspicous activity,1 unwanted subject.Sheriffs for April, 5 alarms, 1atv problem,1 follow up,1 assault,1 misdialed,1 suicidel,1 welfare check. Needless to say the officers are happy to report things in our area are quiet.
