Lacey Anne Drew, 20, of Lovell, March 14, criminal mischief, probation hold, no bail listed as of March 14, Maine State Police.

12/10/07 - Deputy Tom Harriman emailed a messege for the watch group to be extra watchful as property crimes are increasing. It's the Christmas season, be alert.

06/21/07 - A person or persons broke into the store at the Kezar Lake Marina, using a large rock to smash the door glass. The store was trashed, and the cash register was stolen, along with all the cash inside. They also lost a kayak, and the brand new prop from a customer's boat. A reward for information is being offered in the newspaper. For more information: David A. Conary 665-2717

06/09/07 - Jonathan Kalani Lasalle, 23, of Lovell, June 6, Bridgton District Court warrant for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, $500 bail, Oxford County Sheriff's Department. Read.

06/07/07 - Michael Burke, 43, of Lovell accused of unlawful sexual contact. Read.

06/20/07- Reported at LNW meeting that Mr. Stevens has been caught and is out on bail.
06/08/07 - Kathleen Nionakis of Brownfield, Patrick M. Stevens of Lovell (Photo at left.) and Corey Joseph Warren of Fryeburg were indicted on charges stemming from a series of drug busts in Oxford County. Nionakis, 45, was charged with three counts of unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs; Stevens, 20, two counts of unlawful trafficking; and Warren, 21, two counts of aggravated trafficking, one of marijuana cultivation, and one of trafficking in dangerous knives. All three were also charged with criminal forfeiture. Read.

11/30/07- Read Article Here. Lovell man sentenced on drug charges By M. Dirk Langeveld, Staff Writer. PARIS - A Lovell man received a deferred disposition for drug charges on Thursday, but will serve half of it behind bars.
Patrick M. Stevens, 20, of Debbie Lane, pleaded guilty to Class B trafficking of heroin and an information of Class D unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
A count of Class B trafficking in cocaine was dismissed.
Justice Carl O. Bradford gave Stevens a one-year deferred disposition for the trafficking charge.
During this time, he must be enrolled in a full-time job or educational institution, not use or possess alcohol or illegal drugs, undergo substance abuse counseling, and perform 100 hours of community service.
Stevens was sentenced to six months in jail and a $400 fine for the unlawful possession charge. He will begin the sentence on Dec. 11.
According to court documents, an undercover agent and an individual cooperating with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency purchased drugs from Stevens in March and April.
Defense attorney Edward Dilworth said Stevens has no prior adult record.

October 31, 2006 - Jonathan Chase, 20, of Center Lovell, was arrested by the Oxford County Sheriff's Office, Sgt. Matthew Baker, on class B burglary and class D criminal mischief. The arrest during a burglary on Sabattus Road happened only nine days after his release from jail on other burglary charges. Chase will be arraigned at Oxford County Superior Court on Dec. 21.

October 23, 2006 - Gilbert Telford, 68, of 53 Tracy Lane, Center Lovell, was arrested by the Oxford County Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon. He was substitute teacher in SAD 72 and has been arrested on charges of possession of sexually explicit material of a minor under 12. If you think a child you know might have had inappropriate contact with Telford, give the sheriff's department a call at
1-800-733-1421. He is currently out on bail until his December 21st Court date.

August 19, 2006 - Two residences on Pleasant Point Road were broken into with resulting vandalism, damage, and theft.


August 15, 2006 - As of today:
PLEASE lock your cars and take your purse with you.
1. The 52 year old woman, Marietta Mabel Lawson, who stole a purse from a car at the post office before this watch group was formed, is back in town. She was seen being arrested again at the courthouse today on a new charge. Marietta Lawson, 52, Tamworth, N.H., theft by unauthorized taking/transfer, $500 cash bail, Aug. 15, Oxford County Sheriff's Office. (Police Log 8/17/06 SunJournal.com)

2. Dustin N. Locke is not in jail, and may not have moved as was previously reported, since he was seen today at his home. Oxford County Indictments: Dustin N. 3. A minor charged with 11 local crimes did not appear in court today and could be in the area. His next court date is 10/10/06

June 23, 2006 - 11:30 p.m. Nicholas Kane, 18, and Emily Files, 18, of Lovell, were summonsed for possession of a usable amount of marijuana and sale/use or drug paraphernalia on Highland Park Road. (From Fryeburg Police Log June 18-25, 2006) Both were found guilty. Mr. Kane paid a $350. fine and Ms Fine paid a $300. fine. (From Bridgton News 9/7/06) (Solved)

Brittany Sue Smith, 17 (Now of Stowe) Arrested in March for cocaine, was arrested 6/26 for drunk driving, and passengers Anah M. Pitman, 18 (Now of Conway) and Eric A. Sweda (Now of Lewiston) for unlawful possession of alcohol. (From Northern Lights 6/29/06)

June, 2006. Lovell male, 21, caught in a vehicle on a snowmobile trail off Fern Drive with cocaine, crack, acid, needles, and marijuana. More information will be posted on this page soon. This incident was accidently given to the wrong County Police Log.

June 8, 2006 News
Break-in of local business: Center Lovell Market was broken into on the night of June 7th or the early morning hours of June 8th. A police investigation is in progress, but it is noteworthy to know that there was a cut of some kind suffered by the intruder as they broke a door window and left tracks of blood. If anyone sees someone bandaged on the hand or lower arm or just a fresh cut, please report them to the Oxford County Sheriff's Dept. Parents have you seen any signs that your child or child's friends may or may not have been where you thought they were?

October 26, 2006 Update:
Benjamin Blasi, 21 of Brownfield, Maine has been arrested with a DNA match from the June 8th break in of the Center Lovell Market in Lovell, Maine. This follows the investigation by Deputy Joshua Wyman and Sergeant Timothy Ontengco.
